Inter's problems mount at Marseille, Basel beats Bayern

[UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] Underdogs Marseille and FC Basel both won 1-0 on late goals at home against more fancied rivals Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, respectively, to conclude play in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League's round of 16.

Ghanaian Andre Ayew scored in stoppage time to give Marseille the victory, while Valentin Stocker's goal on a shot between goalkeeper Manuel Neuer's legs in the 86th minute gave Basel its win over Bayern.

The loss was Inter's fourth straight and extended its win streak to seven games in all competitions.
