id2 stars earn memorable win over Barcelona

[VIDEO PICK] Elijah Rice of Chicago Magic had a game to remember, scoring three goals to lead the id2 National Selection to a 3-1 win over an FC Barcelona Academy team. The feat came a day after he and his teammates watched Lionel Messi score four goals for the senior Barcelona team against Valencia at Camp Nou.

The id2 National Selection, comprised of players born in 1998, opened its tour with a split in a combined match against Espanyol (1-0 win) and Cornella (2-1 loss).

Following the Barcelona game, the Americans headed to Madrid, where they fell to Atletico Madrid, 2-1.
