[WORLD CUP 2014 QUALIFYING] Mohammed Kasola's goal in the 83rd minute gave Qatar a 2-2 tie with Iran and sent it through to the final round of World Cup 2014 qualifying in Asia. The final day appeared to be a formality for the Qataris, but Bahrain beat Indonesia, 10-0, to make up a deficit of nine goals in goal difference. Saudi Arabia, which qualified for four straight World Cups, will once again miss out on the finals. The Saudis' 4-2 loss at Australia sent tiny Oman through to the final 10 in Asia when it beat Thailand, 2-0. South Korea ended the suspense when it beat Kuwait, 2-0, to move through along with Lebanon in Group B.
