U.S. rivals begin final preparations

[OLYMPICS COUNTDOWN] Nana Attakora and Marcus Haber, who have played for Canada in World Cup qualifying, head the Canadian under-23 squad Coach Tony Fonseca has taken to Sunrise, Fla., to prepare for the Concacaf Olympic qualifying tournament. Canada's 23-player squad includes nine players from MLS, four from the NASL and two from the U.S. college ranks. El Salvador's squad includes two U.S.-bred players, former U.S. U-17 Dustin Corea and Richard Menjivar.

El Salvador beat the University of Maryland, 3-1, on Saturday, and will face the Honduras U-23s Saturday in Houston.

Cuba has traveled to Jamaica and Bolivia, where it lost three tune-up games.

Nah, seriously, even though we're not related, we are kindred spirits of this the jogo bonito - the beautiful game - I'd like to know how to contact him to talk not only 'bout soccer, but genealogy.... Meanwhile GOOD LUCK!!!
