[DATEBOOK] Slammers FC (U-16) and Colorado Rush (U-15), first in their first age groups, are among the Elite Clubs National League teams competing in the National Showcase Event Series this weekend at the San Diego Polo Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

(Click here for more information on the San Diego National Showcase Event.)

This week's tournament is the fourth National Showcase Event in five on "The Road to Waukegan," culminating in the 2012 ECNL National Championship at the Waukegan Sports Park in Chicago in late June.

Slammers FC, first in the Under-16 National Flight A Standings with 7-2-0 record, has one of the toughest weekends, facing Ohio Elite Soccer Academy and Albertson Fury, which are tied for fifth place in the age group.

Colorado Rush, first in the under-15 age group, also has its hands cut out with matches against Slammers FC, Bethesda FC and San Diego Surf.
