Confirming a report in a March 31 posting on the blog, The Brotherly Game, Chelsea was named today by MLS as the opponent that will face its All-Star team July 25 at PPL Park in Philadelphia.
MLS made the official announcement this morning. The game will be a rematch of the 2006 All-Star Game at Toyota Park in which the All-Stars beat Chelsea, 1-0, on a goal by Dwayne DeRosario.
