[USA WOMEN] Christen Press, whose blog is a regular feature of Soccer America, earned her first callup to the U.S. women's national team for the camp to be held in Bradenton, Fla., April 18-30. U.S. coach Pia Sundhage named 27 players for the camp. The roster includes all 23 players who traveled to Japan for the Kirin Challenge Cup, plus midfielder Kristie Mewis, midfielder Keelin Winters, goalkeeper Jill Loyden and Press.

Since most of the U.S. players are not affiliated with a pro club, the 12-day camp will allow the team to train together.

The final home games before the London Olympics will take place May 27 against China at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., and June 30 against Canada at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

U.S. Roster
GOALKEEPERS (4): Nicole Barnhart, Ashlyn Harris, Jill Loyden, Hope Solo (Seattle Sounders Women)
DEFENDERS (9): Rachel Buehler, Stephanie Cox (Seattle Sounders Women), Whitney Engen, Meghan Klingenberg, Amy LePeilbet, Heather Mitts, Kelley O’Hara, Christie Rampone, Becky Sauerbrunn
MIDFIELDERS (9): Shannon Boxx, Tobin Heath (New York Fury), Lori Lindsey (Western New York Flash), Carli Lloyd, Kristie Mewis (Boston College), Heather O’Reilly, Megan Rapinoe (Seattle Sounders Women), Amy Rodriguez, Keelin Winters
