Argentina's Racing Club has cut striker Teo Gutierrez after the Colombian threatened his teammates with a paintball gun.
Gutierrez pulled the weapon when his teammates
confronted him in the locker room after a 4-1 loss to Independiente for getting a costly red-card for insulting the referee.
“We will seek a mutual way out but [Gutierrez]
won’t play for Racing again,” club president Gaston Cogorno said of the 26-year-old who has been ejected four times since joining the club from Trabzonspor of Turkey in
February 2011. “People are tired of Teo’s attitude."
