[EURO 2012 COUNTDOWN] Mapou Yanga Mbiwa and Olivier Giroud of Ligue 1 leader Montpellier were among the players on France national team head coach Laurent Blanc's 26-player preliminary roster for Euro 2012.

Tottenham Hotspur centerback Younes Kaboul, one of the foreign-based players previously announced, has been ruled out with a knee injury.
