Dallas Texans clinch U-15/16 playoff berth

[DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY SPOTLIGHT] The Dallas Texans became the third squad to qualify for the 2012 Development Academy U-15/16 playoffs in their backyard with a 6-1 victory over Andromeda FC.

Christian Soldat notched a hat trick and Brandon Aubrey added two goals for the Texans, who improved to 15-2-4 atop the Texas Division and 19-2-7 overall.

The other U-15/16 playoff-bound teams are the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps.

FC Dallas, the De Anza Force and Vancouver Whitecaps have reached the U-17/18 finals.

The Development Academy Playoffs will feature 32 teams at each age level broken into eight groups June 25-29 at FC Dallas Sports Park in Frisco, Texas.

The winner of each group advances to Finals Week hosted by the Houston Dynamo July 16-23.
