A formal proposal by Concacaf to oust U.S. official Chuck Blazer from the FIFA executive committee couldn't be heard on Friday because it was sent too late.
Blazer,
Concacaf's former general secretary and its North America representative on the executive committee since 1997, has denied financial mismanagement allegations.
Bloomberg.com reported Concacaf legal counsel John Collins
said the U.S. Internal Revenue Service is investigating Concacaf after the organization self-reported potential liabilities.
