[VIDEO PICK] Please tell us if you can what is a better goal scored by a U.S. national team player than the goal Michael Bradley scored Saturday night against Scotland because we can't think of one. The look of wonderment of young teammate Terrence Boyd after Bradley's half-volley tells it all ...

It was good...but maybe Preki versus Brazil in 1998.

Oh this was a good one alright, but Tab Ramos' one timer goal of of a Fernando Clavijo low streaking, worm burner, cross, against Ireland in the (first?, '93?) Nike Cup was l little better.

Don't forget Paul caligiuri s goal vs t&t that qualified us for 1990 world cup or wynsldas strike vs Swiss in 1994 wc

For sheer technical brilliance this was the best USA goal I've ever seen -- half-volley, top corner -- a little better than Preki's and way better than Wynalda's. Caligiuri's goal is the "greatest" of course, but it was a long looper that bounced on the goal line, and a decent keeper would have stopped it. No keeper in the world would have stopped Bradley's shot. (Must admit I don't remember Ramos' goal.)

If you have ever played the game, you would know how difficult and what a spectacular goal this is...Great job Bradley!

If I remember correctly Feilhaber's was a full volley from both a greater distance and angle. What does "the best" matter anyway? I can't remember ever blowing out Uefa team. Finally we are arriving.

I've always liked Michael Bradley. Even when others were throwing him smack (claiming he got the job only because his father was in charge), I thought he was doing just fine in the middle. He usually worked very hard, with the mind of a tough journeyman. Now comes this particular goal--and some very savvy touches throughout the game--and we can see Bradley's no joke. Without neglecting, of course, that playing Serie-A-ball has helped him a lot.

This goal is way up there but I have to give it to Feilhaber. Full volley to clinch an actual title from about the same distance it just wins comfortably over this shot on many levels. Hardy technically and actually in a real match with real pressure. Feilhaber wins.

Perhaps Kirovski's v. Germany in that very stadium. The Ramos goal v. Ireland was in 1992 at RFK. It was a great goal.

I went back and watched all the goals mentioned and my vote is still for the Bradley goal with Feilhaber a very close second.

what are we witnessing as us soccer fans? Jurgen klinsmann modeled his 06 german team from that of the top flight teams in the epl. he asked his germans to play ungermanlike uptempo, highpressure, possession style similar to man united, arsenal,an chelsea. he has now modeled another team to play not like a national team style(american) if you will, but an epl team similar to chelsea or man united. I always felt that building a team using this model would be preferrable as these teams play year round and are superior to national teams in style of play, cohesion, and effectiveness. gl JK with the progress to 2014 WC

I'll go with Feilhaber's: it was against archrival Mexico, full volley, come-from-behind victory for an actual title, Soldier Field...plus I was there, and had a great angle in viewing the strike. so I'm biased.

Feilhaber's, for sure. Game that mattered, Mexico, full-volley, and Mexico. 'Nuff said. But MB90s is second for sure.
