Gordon Ramsay and Will Ferrell suffered injuries during star-studded charity soccer game in England that helped raise over $6.4 million for UNICEF.
Actor Ferrell, 44, had the less serious injury of the two, limping off the field with an apparent leg injury.
Celebrity chef and "Hell's Kitchen" star Ramsay was carried off on a stretcher
and given oxygen after being tackled by former England striker Teddy Sheringham.
"Gordon was taken to hospital after injuring his back during the game," Ramsay's
spokesperson said. "He was released after receiving treatment and although he's in pain today, there shouldn't be any long term damage."
Ferrell and Ramsay played alongside other notable
Hollywood names, including Gerard Butler, Woody Harrelson, Mike Myers and Edward Norton. Former pro stars included
