[W-LEAGUE] The first appearance of U.S. national team stars Hope Solo, Sydney Leroux, Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe drew a capacity crowd of 4,500 fans at Starfire Stadium, but the heroes of the Seattle Sounders Women's 2-1 win over Colorado Rush were Morgan Manthey and Veronica Perez with the two goals.

The Sounders' stars had been away on national team duty and unavailable for the first two games, both wins.

Dayle Colpitts led Rush in the game with 11 saves. Solo was called upon to make three saves. U.S. U-20 star Lindsey Horan had the lone Rush goal.

-- The defending champion Atlanta Silverbacks maintained their perfect start to the season as they won their fourth straight game with a 2-1 win over the Central SC Cobras thanks to goals by Tiffini Turpin and Kristin Burton.

-- Also 4-0-0 are the D.C. United Women, 2-0 winners over the Dayton Dutch Lions thanks to goals by Ashley Manning and Sarah Sample, and the Pali Blues, who beat the Santa Clarita Blue, 1-0, on a stoppage-time goal by Australian international Servet Uzunlar. The Charlotte Lady Eagles also have 12 points from their first four games as they defeated FC Jax Destroyers, 3-0, with two goals from Leah Fortune and a goal from Amanda Naeher.

-- Penn State star Maya Hayes, who led the college ranks in scoring in 2011, scored four times for the New Jersey Wildcats and added an assist in the New Jersey Wildcats' 6-1 victory over the New Jersey Rangers.
