USA to play final qualifier at Livestrong

[DATEBOOK] The USA will close out the semifinal round of World Cup 2014 qualifying at Livestrong Sporting Park, where it will host Guatemala on Oct. 16.

Kickoff in is set for 6 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2, ESPN3 and the Univision family.

Livestrong Sporting Park, which opened in 2011, is the home of MLS's Sporting Kansas City. It was the site of the final four of 2012 Concacaf men's qualifying for the London Olympics.

The USA will begin the World Cup qualifying campaign Friday against Antigua & Barbuda at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. It. then faces Guatemala June 12 at 10 p.m. ET at Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City.

The USA is making its second appearance at Livestrong Sporting Park. It played the first international in the newly minted stadium during the 2011 Gold Cup, winning 1-0 over Guadeloupe.
