[W-LEAGUE] The Pali Blues remained perfect in the W-League with a 7-0-0 record thanks to a 3-0 win over California Rush on goals by former North Carolina star Nikki Washington, Liz Bogus and Danielle Hubka. The win followed a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids thanks to a pair of goals by Lynn Williams.

-- Three road games in three days were no problem for the Charlotte Lady Eagles, who improved to 7-0-0 with two wins over VSI Tampa (4-1 and 3-1) and a victory at the FC Jax Destroyers (3-0). Gloria Douglas led the Eagles with three goals, while Macky Wingo and Leah Fortune had two apiece.

-- Even without U.S. national teams stars like Hope Solo and Alex Morgan, the Seattle Sounders Women drew a sell-out crowd for their game with the Vancouver Whitecaps. The 40th meeting between the clubs ended in a 0-0 tie in front of 4,500 fans at Starfire Stadium. Seattle had entered the game with a 4-0-0 record.

-- D.C. United Women improved to 5-0-0 with a 3-2 win over the Fredericksburg Impact in a battle of unbeaten and untied Atlantic Division teams. Mikaela Howell led D.C. with a goal and an assist.

-- The defending champion Atlanta Silverbacks are 5-0-0 after a 3-0 win over the FC Jax Destroyers thanks to goals from Tiffini Turpin, Elizabeth Guess and Kristin Burton.
