[ROAD TO ROCK HILL] Defending national champion Fullerton Rangers White repeated as the under-15 champions at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV championships. Cal
South teams won six of the eight boys divisions at the finals held in Phoenix.
The Rangers, winners of back-to-back Dallas Cup and Region IV championships, allowed only one goal in six
games to win the U-15 title. Robert Coronado’s first-time strike from 22 yards out in the 35th minute was enough for a 1-0 win over Washington Premier FC
Black in the final.
Arsenal FC will shoot for the club’s fifth national championship after it avenged a loss to West Coast FC in the State Cup final with a 2-1 win in the
regional final on goals by Brayan Vargas and Carlos Chagolla.
West Coast FC will make its third trip to the
National Championships as the U-19 Region IV representative after it defeated Sereno White, 2-0, in the final.
