[AMERICANS ABROAD] Italian club Roma finally completed the deal for Micheal Bradley, acquiring the U.S. international from Chievo Verona for $4.6 million and Roma's half-ownership interest in Romanian Adrian Stoian.

The deal comes shortly before the Italian club heads to the United States to play three games.

In Scandinavia, Conor O'Brien and Josh Gatt both scored in weekend action.

O'Brien kicked off the 2012-13 season in the Danish SAS-Ligaen with a goal from 30 yards in Sonderjyske's 6-1 win over Randers FC (see video below). (Charlie Davies dressed but did not play for Randers.)

Gatt scored the first goal for defending Norwegian champ Molde FK in its 2-1 win at Valerenga.
