Antunez's FC Inter Turku earns tie on road

[AMERICANS ABROAD] American Daniel Antunez started for Finnish club FC Inter Turku in its surprising 1-1 tie at Dutch club FC Twente in the first leg of their Europa League second qualifying round series on Thursday.

Antunez, who has bounced back and forth between Finland and Mexico, started at left back.

Etchu Tabe was also a winner for its Finnish club. KuPS beat Israel's Maccabi Netanya that featured Cal product Leo Krupnik.

Giuseppe Funicello's Thor Akureyri fell, 3-0, to Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic.
