Fullerton Rangers among six boys teams to advance

[U.S. YOUTH SOCCER] Defending national champ Fullerton Rangers secured a return to Saturday's final in the under-15 boys division at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C., with its second 4-0 win, this time Florida's over SAA Real Madrid. The finals in the U-14 age group (Sunrise Elite vs. Santa Barbara SC White) and U-18 age group (Grand Rapids Crew Jrs. vs. Florida Rush Nike) and U-18 division (Grand Rapids Crew Jrs. vs. Florida Rush Nike) were set after Day 2 action, while U-19 Crew Juniors, the first MLS representative to win the title, is back in the McGuire Cup final.

-- Rangers duplicated its Day 1 performance. Gabriel Covarrubias gave Fullerton a 1-0 lead at half. Dylan Smith added a second-half double and George Castro also scored.

-- Crew Juniors fell behind Empire United SA on a goal by Emmanual Chanelo in the 5th minute, but it came out and played a strong second half, winning, 2-1, on goals by Matthew Walker and Cole Denormandie.
