[U.S. YOUTH SOCCER] The Crew Juniors won their second McGuire Cup title with a 2-1 win over Georgia's GSA Phoenix Red in the U-19 boys final in the 2012 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships before more than 2,300 spectators at the Manchester Meadows, in Rock Hill, S.C.

GSA took the lead in the 36th minute on a goal by Hugh Pringle. But as rain poured down at the beginning of the second half, Crew Jrs poured on the pressure and equalized in the 55th minute when Jordan Tyler spun his defender to create space near the top of the 18 and unleashed a low, driven shot.

Just 10 minutes later, GSA failed the effectively clear the ball out of their defensive third, William Trapp placed a stunning half-volley into the side netting for the game winner.

The 19s were again be coached by Crew technical director Brian Bliss, who led the 2010 group to a McGuire Cup national championship.

Two Crew affiliates lost in the U.S. Youth Soccer finals.
