[AMERICANS ABROAD] American-born Bryan Gerzicich scored twice to help Israeli champion Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona to a 4-0 victory over Azerbaijan champion FK Netchi in the first leg of their third qualifying round in the UEFA Champions League.

Gerzicich, who was born in Los Angeles, raised in Argentina and has played in Israel since 2007, scored two late goals off corner kicks.
