Kljestan hits goal in Champions League win

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Sacha Kljestan scored one goal and set up another to help Belgian champion Anderlecht complete its two-game rout of Lithuania's Ekranas with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. The victory followed a 5-0 victory a week before and moved les Mauves into the final round of qualifying for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Kljestan needed only nine minutes to score in his first start of the season and later in the first half assisted on Dennis Praet's goal.

American-born Bryan Gerzicich also advanced as Israeli champion Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona held Azerbaijan's FK Neftchi to a 2-2 tie in Baku and won 6-2 on aggregate.

Injured Josh Gatt didn't suit up for Norway's Molde, which only managed a 1-1 draw at FC Basel and was eliminated, 2-1, on aggregate.
