[MLS SUSPENSIONS] Montreal Impact defender Nelson Rivas' vicious headbutt on Philadelphia Union forward Antoine Hoppenot earned him a two-game suspension in addition to the automatic one-game suspension he received for being red carded.

The Colombian's suspension begins with Montreal’s game at New England on Sunday.

Poor decision. If that head butt is just 3 games what does it take to get more? A shiv in the ribs? MLS blew it. Just invites more thuggery.
