[AMERICANS ABROAD] Of the three Americans at Rangers, only Carlos Bocanegra started in its 2-2 tie at Peterhead, its first league game since being dropped to the Irn-Bru Third Division (fourth level of Scottish soccer). The game drew 4,485 fans at a club that averaged 490 fans last season. For more on Americans abroad this weekend ...

Bocanegra, who was not called in for the Mexico-USA game, was beaten on the first goal by Peterhead, and Rangers needed a late goal from Andy Little to earn a point.

-- Jesus Padilla played his first game for Guadalajara in Mexico in three years, starting in Chivas' 1-1 tie with Morelia. He has spent time on loan to Chivas USA and La Piedad in Mexico since his first stint with Chivas.

-- Mikkel Diskerud made his debut for Norwegian power Rosenborg in its 3-0 victory at Sogndal.
