[MEXICO-USA] The USA's friendly against Mexico on Wednesday marked their 10th encounter at Azteca Stadium. Michael Orozco Fiscal, who scored the goal that gave the USA its first-ever triumph on Mexican soil, became only the fifth American to score against El Tri at Azteca.

Before the USA’s friendly on Wednesday at Azteca, the USA lost eight of its games against Mexico at Azteca, and pulled off a scoreless tie with the Steve Sampson-coached team in 1997.

Orozco was preceded by Willy Roy (1972), Ricky Davis (1980), Eddie Lewis (2005) and Charlie Davies (2009). (Desmond Armstrong scored an own goal for Mexico in the 1993 Gold Cup.)
