[WEEK 2] Santos of Mexico, the 2012 runner-up, opened play in the group stage of the Concacaf Champions League with a 5-0 win over Aguila of El Salvador. Carlos Darwin Quintero scored a hat trick for Santos. American Herculez Gomez didn't score in his brief second-half appearance. Guatemala's Xelaju stunned Guadalajara of Mexico, 1-0, on a goal by Edgar Chinchilla in Tuesday's other game.
