[UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] Sacha Kljestan's Anderlecht fell at Cypriot club AEL Limassol, 2-1, in the first leg of the final round of UEFA Champions League qualifying.

Kljestan started for Anderlecht, which rallied from a 1-0 deficit to earn a valuable away goal thanks to Congolese international Dieumerci Mbokani only to fall on well-traveled Portuguese Rui Miguel's goal 10 minutes later.

American-born Bryan Gerzicich is injured and didn't play in Israeli champion Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona's 2-0 loss at BATE Borisov.
