"It's very difficult on MLS teams. I sometimes wonder why we spend all the resources and the time we do in this competition when sometimes it looks really bizarre."

-- Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena on the Concacaf Champions League after his team's 5-2 win over El Salvador's Isidro Metapan. (Los Angeles Times)

Trust me Bruce, when they come here -- using a much larger fraction of their resources than you do, dealing with players who can't get into the country because of our State Department, playing in a surrealistically foreign environment -- they find it pretty bizarre too. But then again, it is the World's Game, and they are our neighbors. Quit whining. There have been as bad diving calls in the EPL, and Keane would have been sent off for his display there also.
