[SCOREBOARD] The visiting Tampa Bay Rowdies defeated the short-handed Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, 3-0, before 5,659 fans at Lockhart Stadium to clinch a playoff berth. Midfielder Michael Tetteh, signed on loan from the Seattle Sounders, was shown a red card in the 19th minute, but the Strikers held out until the 81st minute when Raphael Cox scored the first of three Rowdies' goals in the last 10 minutes. The Puerto Rico Islanders also joined the San Antonio Scorpions and Tampa Bay in the playoffs when FC Edmonton fell at home to the Atlanta Silverbacks, 2-0. For all the weekend action ...
