[AMERICANS ABROAD] UC Irvine All-American Coco Goodson scored the winning goal for FC Twente in its 2-1 win over Ajax
before 2,500 fans in Enschede in the BeNe League Orange. The win put FC Twente in first place in the Dutch women's league after three games. Mexican-American Teresa
Noyola, who starred on Stanford's 2011 championship team, and Brittany Persaud, formerly of Wright State, are starting for defending champion ADO.
Goodson, who is in her first season with Twente, had hit the woodwork in Twente's second game, a 1-1 tie at FCE/PSV.
Former Anteater Danielle de
Seriere was on the Twente roster last season during its UEFA Women's Champions League campaign.
Noyola and Persaud both scored in ADO's 4-1 win at Telstar on Sept. 3.
