[OREGON-BYU] No. 6 BYU won its eighth straight game with a 1-0 win at Oregon on Monday night. Carlee Payne Holmoe scored in the 6th minute, and Cougars held off the Ducks the rest of the way.

Oregon ended the match with the advantage in shots (12-10), shots on goal (5-2) and corner kicks (6-3) yet could not score on BYU goalkeeper Erica Owens.

BYU climbed one spot to No. 6 in this week's Soccer America Top 25.

The Cougars (10-1-0) have won eight straight games since falling at Utah, 1-0, on Aug. 25.
