[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] Dean Cox of Leyton Orient buries one from inside his own half during a League One win at Walsall.
Cox took one
shot during Tuesday's game at Walsall, and it was one he won’t forget. The 60-yard bomb, with an teammate on the ground beside him, helped the visitors win the second division game in England,
2-1.
"Anthony Griffith got smashed on the halfway line and they stopped so I was able to look up and have a touch," Cox said. "The keeper wasn’t off his line much but I thought I’d have a go and
it’s ended up in the top corner which was great. ... Maybe they thought the ref was going to give a foul but he played advantage.”
And what an advantage it was. Here’s 11
seconds of footage we smuggled out from deep inside the Orient…
