[ECNL PHOENIX] Texas club Solar-Chelsea's U-14s scored 20 goals in three games at the Elite Clubs National League's first national event of the 2012-13 season, which took place in the Phoenix area Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

Solar-Chelsea conceded just two goals in wins over Sereno SC (Ariz.), Las Vegas Premier SC and Heat FC (Nevada) in their U-14 round-robin group.

In the five age groups U-14 through U-18, 140 teams competed in the three-day event.

The 2012-13 National Event Series will continue in Sanford, Fla. in December, Frisco, Texas, in February and San Diego in April, and conclude at the Players Development Academy's tournament in Zarephath, N.J. in May.
