[NASL] The North America Soccer League has approved the New York Cosmos to begin play on Long Island in 2013, and it moved one step close to getting a team inOttawa in 2014 as the city council in the Canadian capital gave the green light for  a partnership with the Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group for the construction of the new LansdownePark.
