[MARBELLA CUP] Daniel Cuevas and Benji Joya, who both moved from Northern California to play for Mexican club Santos, and Mario Rodriguez, who left the Los Angeles Galaxy academy for German club Kaiserslautern, scored to give the U.S. under-20 national team a 3-2 win over Azerbaijan's under-21 national team, its second win in three games at the 2012 Marbella Cup in Spain.

Los Angeles Galaxy forward Jose Villarreal scored twice in a nine-minute span in the first half to lead the U-20s to a 2-0 win over Scotland’s under-21 national team. The U.S. U-20s fell to Canada's U-20s, 2-1, in their opener.

The USA dominated the game against the Scottish U-21s with an 11-3 edge in shots and 5-0 advantage on corner kicks.

Vancouver Whitecaps forward Caleb Clarke's goal in the 80th minute gave Canada a 2-1 win over the USA on Wednesday.

Forward Mario Rodriguez, who signed with German club Kaiserslautern over the summer, scored the lone U.S. goal.

Disappointing that you have to move out of the country to get trained as a youth player...where do you get educated academically? What happens if someone breaks your leg? What if coaches don't think you are for them? How much money can they pay you to leverage your future? USSoccer must take a position (not give an Order)based on American values.
