[BIG 12] No. 19 West Virginia clinched the Big 12 regular-season crown in its first season in the conference Friday night when Texas, the only team with a chance to catch the Mountaineers, fell at Baylor, 2-1.

The Big 12 title marks the sixth regular season championship for Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown and the women’s soccer program.
 
The Mountaineers close out the regular season at Texas on Oct. 26.
