Denis Cheryshev, who plays for Real Madrid's B team Castilla, is among the 35 players called up for Fabio Capello's short list for the Russia-USA friendly Nov. 14 in the southern city of Krasnodar.

Cheryshev, whose father Dmitry played for the CIS and Russia, has yet to play for Real Madrid's first team.

Arsenal forward Andrei Arshavin and Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak were again left out of the Russian team that is 4-0-0 in World Cup 2014 qualifying under Capello. Former Chelsea winger Yuri Zhirkov, now at wealthy Anzhi Makhachkala, was recalled following a three-month absence.
