Time Warner Cable, the second largest U.S. cable-television operator behind Comcast, and Bright House Networks, the sixth
largest, have added soccer network beIN Sport.
They will offer the network in English -- beIn Sport -- and a separate network in Spanish -- beIn Sport -- on TV and on demand.
Both networks will be made available to authenticated subscribers through Time Warner's TWC TV website (www.twctv.com) and applications inside the home and
through Bright House Networks BHTV app and through beIN SPORT’s website (www.beinsport.tv) and applications inside and outside the home.
Time
Warner Cable and Bright House Networks are the second and third U.S. cable carriers to add BeIN Sport after Comcast.
BeIN Sport offers weekly coverage of Spain’s La Liga,
Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue 1 as well as World Cup qualifying in Concacaf and South America.
MLS PLAYOFF RATINGS. According to Sports
Business Journal's John Ourand, Sunday's MLS playoff game between Houston and Sporting Kansas City on NBC drew a 0.3 rating, tying for the weekend's lowest rated sports event on broadcast TV.
