Germany’s injury list grows and grows, leaving Coach Joachim Loew with many key players for the friendly against Netherlands in Amsterdam on Wednesday.

The latest to bow out are playmaker Mesut Ozil, who is nursing a minor muscle injury, and the only out-and-out striker, Miroslav Klose, sidelined with the flu.

The Germans were already without injured holding midfielder Sami Khedira and defender Holger Badstuber, but they lost midfielders Bastian Schweinsteiger and Toni Kroos anddefenders Jerome Boateng and Marcel Schmelzer over the weekend with injuries or illness.

Loew called upSebastian Jung, Sven Bender and Lewis Holtby as reinforcements.
