The defending champion Seattle Sounders were the big winners in USL-1, sweeping a home-and-home series with Portland to move from ninth to a tie for fifth. The PDL and W-League playoff fields are set. In the PDL, the Abbotsford Rangers, Orange County Blue Star, Williamsburg Legacy and Michigan Bucks grabbed the final four spots of 16. The Charlotte Lady Eagles, Michigan Hawks, Minnesota Lightning, Mile High Mustangs and Northern Virginia Majestics grabbed the last five of 14 berths.
