Ashley Cole Headed to PSG, Mom Says

Chelsea defender Ashely Cole could be on his way to France to play for Paris Saint-Germain, after his mother revealed on Facebook that her son would be “Not too far on the Eurostar.”

Cole, 31, is out of contract at the end of the season and has warned Chelsea that he wants a longer deal than one year. However, the club’s policy is not to offer players over the age of 30 anything more than a 1-year contract extension.

Aside from posting the comment about the Eurostar, Cole’s mom also posted a link to a story about PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti contacting him recently. Whether she has any inside information on where her son might end up remains to be seen. Cole would be added to PSG’s growing roster of international superstars, which includes Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi
