[VIDEO PICKS] Diego Milito's critical miss from point blank during Inter Milan's tie with Cagliari, and mortar lobbed from 40 yards out in Romania’s fourth division.

Inter Milan is off to a great start in what was tabbed as a rebuilding year at the San Siro. Inter progressed after only four Europa League games, beat Juventus in Turin to break its 49 game unbeaten streak in Serie A, and could’ve closed the gap on the champions to two points, after Juve’s tie with Lazio on Saturday.

Milito is Inter’s leading scorer with seven goals, it may be hard to understand how he doesn’t have eight, after seeing this chance in a 2-2 tie at home on Sunday, which left Inter four points behind Juve …


We don’t have much information on this goal for FC Rasnov against AS Sanpetru in Romania, but we do know this. Maybe if Milito got to his sweet spot, like Razvan Eremia does here, he would’ve scored.

Eremia knows just where he likes it, pinned on the sideline forty yards away from goal, and gets there by shaking a defender, now all that’s left to do is…
