Americans Edgar Castillo and Greg Garza bothplayed in the game against Monterrey. Castillo played left back for 90 minutes, while Garza, who scored the winning goal in the first-leg in Monterrey, came on as a sub in the 70th minuteto play down the left, too. Joe Corona was an unused sub for Tijuana.
