[AMERICANS ABROAD] Fabian Johnson scored his third goal of the season for Hoffenheim, but its 2-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen left it in 16th place in the German Bundesliga. Clint Dempsey assisted on Gareth Bale's winning goal in Tottenham's 3-1 win over West Ham United. He also hit the woodwork in the win that ended Spurs' three-game losing streak in the English Premier League.
