[AMERICANS ABROAD] Clint Dempsey returned to Fulham for the first time since his transfer to Tottenham and had an assist in Spurs' 3-0 win at Craven Cottage. Terrence Boyd scored his 12th goal of the season for Rapid Vienna in its 2-1 win over SV Reid in the Austrian Bundesliga. Young Bobby Wood scored the tying goal for 1860 Munich in its 1-1 tie with Aalen in the German Bundesliga 2. Zak Whitbread scored in Leicester City's 4-1 win over Derby County in the English League Championship.

    Dempsey just gets better each time I see him play. He just as easily could have had at least 2 goals in this match...his play is quicker, more intense an smarter, he seems to be more physically fit an faster in his play...I do not believe he is near his peak yet in the skill of the game...he has become a dangerous striker anyplace around the box...an can assist anyone...a real team player.
