Jose Mourinho will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season even if the club wins the UEFA Champions League, La Marca is reporting, as relations between the Portuguese coach and President Florentino Perez have completely broken down. Mourinho will depart in June 2013.

According to the report, Perez said in private last weekend that "Mourinho is cutting his own throat," and has often been overheard criticizing his difficult character. He is also aware that the dressing room is not entirely in his corner anymore, either. Mourinho, meanwhile, has repeatedly said the club should get someone to back him up in his complaints. He did not have much to say when questioned by reporters about the La Marca story.

"I have no problems, but I am not going to keep feeding this situation. I am stepping back from the argument. For me, this is not news. My future is that tomorrow is my 101st game in the Champions League," the Portuguese said.

Real is already 11 points behind league leader Barcelona in La Liga this year, after winning the title last season.
