David Beckham could be set to sign a six-month contract with Paris Saint-Germain, after French radio station RMC cited a source close to the Englishman saying the super-rich club had made an offer for his services. While only a half-year deal, the offer reportedly includes an option to extend the agreement.

Beckham worked with current PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti during his first loan spell at AC Milan in 2009. Following the Los Angeles Galaxy’s MLS Cup win on Sunday, which would prove to be the 37-year-old’s final game with the American club, Beckham revealed that Ancelotti had personally congratulated him. However, he was quick to add: "That doesn't mean they want to sign me."
