Los Angeles Galaxy target Kaka played a starring role as Real Madrid’s steamrolled Ajax Amsterdam in Madrid on Tuesday, winning its final UEFA Champions League game 4-1 to finish second in Group D and qualify for the second round of the competition. The Brazilian both captained and scored during the game. However, afterward, he revealed that the MLS club had not yet contacted him about a possible transfer. Kaka still has three years left on his deal with Los Blancos, but he admitted that he could leave the reigning Spanish champion as soon as January.

"No, now I have (heard) nothing (from LA Galaxy)," the 30-year-old told Spanish newspaper AS. "I keep doing my job to stay in Madrid. Then, to see what happens and what the club wants. It's not a comfortable situation for either the club or me. I do not know what will happen. I have a contract until 2015. The club called me (in the summer) and we did not find a solution. What January? I do not know, I hope to know what the club wants. If they choose a solution, I'm open to talk."
