Paris Saint-Germain, which has been criticized this season for being overly dependent on striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, hopes to receive a major offensive boost when Brazilian playmaker Lucas Moura finally joins the team for its winter training camp in Qatar on December 27.

Moura signed for PSG last summer in a $56 million move from Sao Paulo with the agreement that he wouldn’t join the Ligue 1 club until January 2013. In his final game for Sao Paulo on Wednesday, the Brazil international tallied a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory over Argentine club Tigre to win the Copa Sudamericana.

In an interview with L'Equipe, the 20-year-old said he was particularly excited about playing alongside Ibrahimovic. "He's one of the best forwards in the world. It's always great to play alongside players of that caliber," Moura said. "I'm going to learn by playing alongside him, that's for certain. I hope that the two of us will form a great duo."
